Dustin Burgham is our super accountant, and an important member of the DSA Media team. A May 2005 graduate of BCIT, he joined us in late 2005 as we settled into our new offices in Walnut Grove, and armed with his diploma in Financial Management (with specialized skills in advanced accounting we might add!), Burgham keeps us on our toes and our suppliers up to date. Dustin is a true "west coaster", having been born and raised in the Lower Mainland of Vancouver. Most recently a resident of Langley, he rivals David Stanger for the status of number one sports fan in the office. He has an enormous collection of England and Manchester United jerseys, and he watches his beloved "Man U" at every available opportunity. He is not just a watcher, he's also a player, having worn the cleats since the age of 6. Soccer isn't his only love however, as the "D-Man" lives and dies with the Canucks. He never misses a game, (we think he sleeps in his Bieksa sweater), and whenever or wherever the 'Nucks are playing, you'll find Dustin in front of the TV or at the game in time for the opening whistle. Dustin brings a fierce work ethic and a great sense of humour to the job and his easy going personality makes him a great team player at DSA. We also hear he plays a mean guitar... In May '09, Dustin married Jamie Phillips (one of our Media Buyers!) and they are counting the days until the arrival of their first child in early 2010. |
