David Stanger & Associates was founded in March 1997 in Langley, BC. What started as a 2 person shop quickly grew with the purchase of the Calgary-based Baron Communications in August of 2000. In 2002, DSA grew into a 5 person shop, to accommodate the new accounts and responsibilities in BC. In a co-venture with Brown Communications in 2004, Octane Media opened as the first-ever media specialty operation in Saskatchewan. In January 2011, Octane Media was rebranded as DSA Saskatchewan.
In 2009, DSA announced the expansion of the DSA brand onto Vancouver Island under the direction of long-time DSA Media Specialist, Shannon Shafer.
Across the 4 offices there is broad account knowledge from local malls and specialty food services to regional, national and international accounts.
In 2004, David Stanger was awarded with an “Audrey”, the industry equivalent to a lifetime achievement Oscar for his work over the past 30 years. David leads the company with his experience and knowledge of the market and works on nearly every account at DSA.
The DSA Media Network has experienced exponential growth over the past 14 years. With nearly $80 million dollars in billable accounts, The DSA network is western Canada's largest independent media operation. DSA Media in Langley now employs 10 full time staff, and we're looking forward to continuing to work on new and challenging projects as the year progresses. |
