Jamie Burgham joined DSA a Media Assistant/Project Coordinator in January of 2008. In recognition of the progress she has made and for the care and attention she has given our clients, effective January 9th, 2009, Jamie has been promoted to Media Buyer/Project Coordinator. A life-long Langley resident, Jamie previously worked in administrative positions with Ropak Packaging and Nedco, a division of Rexel Canada Electrical Inc. She came to DSA with a strong knowledge in the industrial field. In her first year with DSA, she worked as a media assistant on a number of DSA accounts, and she also functioned as the Project Coordinator for DSA Online’s rapidly growing client list. As the year unfolded she became a member of the planning and buying team on the Hotel Grand Pacific and B.C. Cancer Foundation accounts, and her promotion was very much related to the work she has done with those clients. While a career in media may not seem a logical landing place for someone whose college studies were focused on a career as a Legal administrative assistant, her strong social and clerical skills are a definite asset to the DSA Media working environment. In addition to her work with our clients, Jamie is at the forefront of most of the internal activities at DSA, and her competitive spirit during DSA gaming contests has become "legendary". Jamie is also one of our Canuck-loving staff; she also enjoys listing to music, playing softball, shopping and being with family. Jamie is married to our Accounting Manager, Dustin Burgham. They welcomed their first child, daughter Brooklyn Mae in January 2010. Jamie love’s being a mum to Brooklyn and cherishes all the joy she brings!
