Shannon Schafer joined DSA in May of 2005 as a media buyer/planner, after having spent four years “client-side” at Island Hearing Services in Victoria.  During her time at Island Hearing, Shannon worked in just about every department you can name, as well as spending considerable time out in the field with various different franchisees around the province. Her responsibilities included the planning and implementation of displays at trade shows as well as setting up regional functions for the industry professionals.  She brings a wealth of knowledge in the health care and wellness industry to our line-up, as well as providing a unique local perspective of Vancouver Island (where she was born and raised).


Shannon is a hard working, dedicated member of the DSA team and along with Kathryn Slater played a key role in helping to manage and design the set up of our new office in the late fall of 2005. 

Shannon recently moved back to Victoria and she will be working closely with client's needs on Vancouver Island. Shannon was married last year to her long-time partner, Myles, and welcomed their first child, Avery Mackenna, into the family on July 25th, 2008.
